January 1, 2027

Resolution Criteria

Resolves YES if EPA 2027 model year NOx standards (0.035 g/hp-hr) take effect for MY2027 trucks without the start date being delayed beyond MY2027. NO if implementation is postponed, waived, or standards are weakened. Source: EPA Federal Register notices.

Additional Context

EPA confirmed in November 2025 that 2027 NOx standards will proceed despite industry concerns about $4,800+ per-truck cost increases. However, Trump administration officials have suggested potential delays or modifications.
