Resolution Date

August 31, 2026

Resolution Criteria

Resolves YES if May or June 2026 YoY volume is positive (higher than May or June 2025) for Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, or Port of NY/NJ. Otherwise NO. Source: Port public monthly statistics.

Additional Context

Ports are expected to decline through Q2. But if inventory drawdowns complete and retailer restocking begins, a port could tip positive in May or June. First port to show YoY growth signals intermodal demand is accelerating.
